Okay, so I'm just celebrating for two weeks. My birthday was this past Friday, and I took my best friend forever, Kate Gates, and my other amazing friend, Richard Hebert. We left Thursday night at around 9:30 and got to Destin, FL, where my parents live, at around 3:00 am. Kate gave me the option of opening my present before we left or on my actual birthday. Richard and I decided it would be a good idea to wait until midnight, and then open it. I was still driving at around that time, so we waited until we came to a rest stop. This is what I opened...
She is officially the best gift giver EVER. The Snitch is a locket. It's so amazing. On my birthday morning, I woke up first to an empty house. Mom was grocery shopping, Bert was working, and Grandmother was locked in her room, getting all of her birthday phone calls. Mrs. Popularity! ;) When Mom got home, she made us breakfast and I opened my gift from Grandmother. More pretty jewelry!
My cake was pretty awesome, too. Good job, Wal-Mart.
Then we went to the beach and played around and such. I'm already getting tired of typing. That and Half Blood Prince is on, and I'm a little distracted. What else did we do...? After some play time in the ocean, we went back home and had some homemade pizzas, and THEN we went to the pool for a while to practice with our water guns before Crab Island on Saturday. Cake and ice cream was next, followed by a failed attempt to watch the Moth Man Prophecies...because I fell asleep.
Next morning, I wake up to hear Mom shouting, "Get up!! You've got to see this!!! LOOK!!!" This is what I see...
Me: O_o...It's raining?
Mom: It's a water spout!
Me: What?
Mom: A water spout!!

Then Bert made bagel sandwiches and we went back to bed, because it was 7am. I woke up again to my mother lying on my bed next to me, playing random songs on her iPhone. "Good morning, Sunshine! I've got our Crab Island playlist!" She's cute sometimes. :) We all got up and got ready while Bert fetched the boat and drove it up to the dock.
We played for LONG time, went back to the condo and had a shrimp boil. It was DELICIOUS.
And that's my weekend.

- Sarah, my Harry Potter pen pal from Washington, flies in on TUESDAY! She's flying down to see HP7.2 with me and mah other crazed HP fans. SO much fun.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II comes out on THURSDAY NIGHT! YEAH!
- Going to work the morning after Harry Potter, and then Kasey, Sarah, and I are driving straight back to Destin for another weekend of fun in the sun. Sarah's FIRST trip to Florida! EXCITEMENT.
